Date s. xivmed “The manuscript is written in a mid-fourteenth century rounded textura script” (Rhyddiaith Gymraeg); formerly dated by Evans to the late 15th century. The Welsh verse written over portions of the manuscript is later and has been dated to the 17th century (Evans).
