Description
The manuscript preserves a Latin commentary (a
glossa or
catena) on the Psalms, arrranged by lemma, and is accompanied by glosses in both Old Irish (25) and Northumbrian Old English (5). For the entry on the text, see

8th or 9th century. In their catalogue published in 1886, Henry Stevenson and De Rossi dated the manuscript to the 8th century.

"the work of an Anglo-Saxon" (Stokes and Strachan). A colophon copied from the original text occurs at the end of the text (but not separate from it), on f. 46r. It identifies the scribe of the exemplar as one Edilberict filius Berictfridi.
