Collection(s)	Most of the Irish-language manuscripts are kept in press H, which includes the following acquisitions: Sullivan manuscripts, i.e. manuscripts collected by Francis Stoughton Sullivan (d. 1766), including copies written for him by Hugh O'Daly Fergus manuscripts, after John Fergus (d. 1766), a physician Sebright Gift, 43 manuscripts donated by Sir John Sebright (d. 1709), many of which can be traced to Edward Lhuyd's tour through Ireland. Vallancey collection, after Charles Vallancey (d. 1812) Later additions from the collection of William Reeves (d. 1892) John O'Donovan [1]
Description	Manuscripts of Trinity College, Dublin, are here indexed by their catalogue number rather than by their former shelfmark, although the latter is still much used today.
