Introduction

Hello and welcome to my user page. My name is Dennis Groenewegen and since the mid-noughties I've served as a member on the board of the A. G. van Hamel Foundation for Celtic Studies as well as the editorial board of our journal Kelten. As webmaster, I've also been responsible for setting up, designing and maintaining our website. Recent contributions in this area include initiating two new Celtic studies projects, *selgā and *datlā, and migrating our old website to a MediaWiki-based environment.

  • Developing Form:Person, combining forms for authors, scribes and 'characters' - and for others in due course
    • Defining categories and properties to make a variety of queries possible based on a combination of significant properties: early Irish poets ("early irish" + "poets"), Hiberno-Latin poets ("Hiberno-Latin" + "poets"), etc.
  • See if references can be exported to BibTex files or to BibText text, which can be copied and pasted; keep an eye on Bibtex results formats
  • Look and feel
    • Customising the MW skin (Gumaxdd and Gumaxvn)
  • User friendliness
    • Writing the editors' manual for *datlā and *selgā
    • A talk page template to offer new users appropriate links to help pages and instructions and the like
