Although Mícheál Ó Cléirigh does not sign his name, the hand has been identified as his (RIA cat.).
Later history
In 1672, the manuscript was in the hands of Roderic O'Flaherty, who added notes in the margins. In 1768, it was in the hands of Charles O'Conor, who also supplied numerous notes. Source: RIA cat.
