    Kirk-Ó Broin glossary

    A Gaelic glossary which is first found at the end of Robert Kirk’s Gaelic Bible (An Bíobla Naomhtha, published in 1690) and was later copied, with additions, into BL, Egerton 158 by its scribe Séamus Ó Broin. In both versions, the entries are grouped alphabetically under their initial letter (A, B, C., etc.), though no order is apparent within each group.
