Abstract (cited)
This paper presents a critical edition of a threat of satire by Tadhg (mac Dáire) Mac Bruaideadha against Donnchadh Ó Briain, the fourth Earl of Thomond, and the Ó Briain sept. Along with this edition of the threat of satire, a discussion of the literary and historical aspects of the text and its manuscript transmission is provided.
