There are still traces of an Irish gloss on the lower margin, but it has become illeglble.

Irish note in the upper margin consisting of what seems to be an earlier gloss and in the middle, enclosed in its own oblong, an Irish name, Tomas O Sínachan, written in a distinct other hand, perhaps partially erasing the older gloss. There is a horizontal stroke over the letter i of the name, which Aubrey Gwynn prefers to read as a length mark. Earlier, F. E. Warren had apparently read it as the stroke for n, rendering O Sinnachan instead.

List of Irish names in the upper part of the right margin. Warren's tentative transcription reads: Macrobius MacCor[pre] / Brian MacCon Ba / edha Johannes / MacGungan / Tomas a Bria / fich Finsca / Carmach / cum sua. Warren dates the script to the late 13th century, without giving supporting arguments, and suggests that the names all refer to former owners of the manuscript.
