Description/summary An etymological dictionary of Early Irish, which was begun by Joseph Vendryes (d. 1960) and continued by Édouard Bachallery and Pierre-Yves Lambert. The work, which is incomplete (as yet), contains the following volumes: 1: lettre A (1959); 2: lettres M-P (1960); 3: lettres R-S (1974); 4: lettres T-U (1978); 5: lettre B (1981); 6: lettre C (1987); 7: lettre D (1996).
