Irish (prose) adaptation of the story of William of Palerne. Cecile O'Rahily has shown that its immediate source is a 16th-century English prose adaptation of the Middle English alliterative romance William of Palerne. The Middle English text is itself an adaptation of the Old French verse romance Guillaume de Palerne.
