Welsh author who is credited with the translation of the Pseudo-Turpin Chronicle, or at least the first part of it, into Welsh at the behest of Gruffudd ap Maredudd ab Owein ap Gruffudd ap Rhys, who was associated with the ruling house of Deheubarth. He may also have been responsible for the Welsh Transitus Beatae Mariae.
